Texas Hunting Retrievers; is located on 35 acres in
Celina, Texas just minutes north of Dallas and was
built with dogs in mind. The selection of the property
and design of the kennels were geared to provide the
best care for Boarding and Training. The property
provides a social atmosphere and everything needed
from play-time, to our complete training programs
for all levels of basic, intermediate, advance obedience
& gun dog training. |

| One
of the unique things about NTHR is we let dogs play
together. This is a wonderful opportunity for your
dog to socialize and learn to "play nice"
with other dogs. Currently we have a 2 acre fenced-in
airing yard where we group compatible dogs together
for “play time” (weather permitting) at
no extra charge to you! |
We
also offer medications administration at no additional
charge for the canine with special needs. Pick-up and
Deliver “Pet Taxi” services are used by hundreds
of our clients in the metroplex, so advanced reservations
are suggested; especially around the holidays.
Referred
to by our clients as "Doggie Camp”; there is
no doubt that we had the dogs in mind when we designed
our operation.
Our
Office is Lodge Headquarters for drop-off, pick-up, and

Kennels
My
years of experience and visits to other kennels helped
us create a perfect environment for any dog. Our kennels
are constructed of concrete floors; kennels are built
with 9-guage chain link, while others are solid wall construction
and vented gate system allowing for good air circulation
and proper sanitation.
We
offer climate controlled in-door lodging, in-door/out-door
and a semi-open air structure that protects all dogs from
the elements, while providing comfortable living quarters.
Each dog is provided off-floor sleeping quarters. We went
to great lengths to ensure the kennel design & construction
along with our sanitation regimen virtually eliminates
any potential for disease.
Coming
spring 2007 we will complete the building of on-site technical
training water for the working retriever “gun dog”
training program which is currently done at one of the
leased training properties. Our country setting really
provides the optimal setting and comfort for all.
Food/Diet
While
construction was important, we did not forget about the
canine diet. We feed “Extreme
